Service Manager — Diesel Engine Shop
Born and raised in North Idaho, Darren graduated from NIC Diesel Technology School in 2007 and is now on the Board of Directors for NIC Diesel Program. He has been with CDA Tractor since 2008 and if you have any challenges finding him, he’s the one with the wrench tattooed on his forearm. This man has true dedication to his craft.
Diesel Engine Mechanic
An Idaho native and avid outdoorsman, Kevin enjoys hunting & fishing and lifting heavy objects. Dubbed “The Strongest Man at CDA Tractor” Kevin is always there to save the day when you need a tractor or small building lifted. Not to mention, he’s a pretty awesome mechanic.
Service Manager, Small Engine Shop
If you’re bummed about your machine breaking or simply having a bad day, just swing by the small engine shop for a laugh. Our class clown has a story for everything and a well of jokes to brighten your day. Born & raised in Sunset, Utah… this avid Jazz fan will find a way to help you, whether it’s fixing your machine or your attitude.
We struck gold when we found this talented technician. It took one day to realize he should be assembling diesel tractors after originally being hired for another position. He was the most quickly promoted employee in the history of our business. You won’t find a more positive attitude or anyone willing to do whatever it takes to help our business. You’ll find a lot of friendly banter if you get a chance to meet this fun character.
Born and raised in North Idaho, Tyler is a self-taught mechanic. He has worked at Black Rock golf course and came to Coeur d’Alene Tractor in June, 2014. Tyler enjoys camping and outdoor power sports in his free time.
Small Engine Mechanic
Jode has been with CDA Tractor since 2017. He was a diesel mechanic in the navy and with his years of experience and multiple schools of engine repair (certified Briggs & Stratton Master Tech) under his belt, he’s one of the best mechanics in the Northwest. He’s also an avid football fan, husband and father of 3 cool kids.
Originally from Washington, Kevin worked in our Bonners Ferry store as a technician before deciding to migrate South to CDA and bless us with his talents of assembling tractors. Kevin loves camping, hiking, fishing & hunting when there’s no snow on the ground. Take a guess at how to pronounce his last name.
This Washington native showed up for work with a monster set of tools and simply hit the ground running as a Setup Technician. When he’s not spending time with his 3 kids you can find Richard boating, bowling or camping somewhere in the Northwest. He’s big and elusive but swears he’s not the real Sasquatch.
A certified motorcycle mechanic by trade and drag racer on the weekends, Wes is a multi-talented workhorse that joined CDA Tractor in 2019. He moved to CDA in 2014 being drawn to the outdoors and is pumped to bring his skills to the tractor business.
The youngest member of our team, Andrew goes to school full time at Lake City HS and is enrolled in the KTEC Diesel Engine Program and STILL finds time to work 20hrs a week assembling mowers & snowblowers and delivering SES machines. This future diesel mechanic loves working engines and getting muddy off roading in his Jeep.
Matt worked on ATVs for 14 years at Post Falls Power Sports and was looking for a new challenge and something new to fix. He’s proven to have a high aptitude for just about everything he tackles. His positive attitude seems to affect everyone around him. I’m sure it has something to do with his new son and perhaps he’s just delirious from the lack of sleep. Matt can be found fishing, boating or golfing on the weekends.
